Selecting
Hold Ctrl and click to select multiple objects
Hold Alt & click to deselect objects
Enable Auto window/crossing direction;
Customise, preferences, general, scene selection.
Copy options
Hold ‘Shift’ and move, rotate, or scale
Or right click selected object and select ‘Clone’
Copy: creates a straight copy.
Instance: Any changes made to the original object are also made to the cloned objects, such as moving verts or adding modifiers. This works backwards too, therefore changing your copied object will affect the original as well.
Reference: Like a one way instance. if you change the original, the copy will change, if you change the copy, the original stays the same. Note the division line in the modifier stack. Only modifiers made above this line will be one way.
